These rates are developed using a comparison of international high and low rates while factoring in the local economic climate. Prices may vary depending on the complexity of the task, what it will be used for, and intellectual property contractual agreements.

If the creative will not be allowed to use what they have created, then the fee will be higher.  Entry Level means the work delivered is of simple complexity, for example, a basic character with flat colours and very little detail. Average would be a character with medium details and advanced would mean very detailed. This can be extrapolated for all the other tasks. The more complex and detailed the required output the more it will cost.

All costs and in $US dollars. The rationale behind this is that software and hardware required for the job is charged for in $US dollars, and animation is a globally applicable skill many clients are from outside of Jamaica. The US dollar serves as a more universally accepted currency.

Rates may change over time as the market develops more. These rates are merely a guide and no creative is bound by them. You will still need to negotiate with your client, but you can use this as a ballpark for budgeting.
